Tri-State Area Master Gardeners Spring Classes 2026

The Tri-State Area Master Gardeners, with support from Northern Panhandle RC&D, provided a series of hands-on conservation education programs that promoted sustainable gardening practices, environmental stewardship, and community engagement. Programs included a pruning workshop where participants learned proper tree and shrub care techniques, interactive conservation activities at the Weirton Earth Day Celebration that engaged youth and adults in pollinator and wildlife habitat education, and a companion planting workshop that demonstrated environmentally friendly gardening methods. Through these educational opportunities, more than 135 youth and adults gained practical knowledge and skills related to sustainable gardening, conservation, pollinator support, and responsible environmental practices, helping to strengthen community awareness and connections to the natural environment.
